Recently, some new signs popped up in some Wegmans locations in the Big Apple, alerting shoppers that their personally-identifying biometric data is being collected and stored while they shop at those locations. The chain is not currently collecting that information at any of it's Buffalo Niagara locations, but still, the mere thought of that has been unnerving for many local shoppers, would you care if Wegmans was able to collect your biometric data?
