Amazing

This was soo good I enjoyed the story and the characters. This was a swee Enjoyable listen and the narration was great. I can’t wait for more from this author.

A sweet hurt comfort, age gap romance. Light pup and daddy dynamics! Lots of hurt comfort. Good audio book

Another heartwarming Mission City story

I know I’ve probably said it before but it bears repeating that Gabbi needs to continue this universe! Every one of these stories gets more and more heartwarming and beautiful. Lorcan really went through hell with his ex. Losing everything he worked so hard for because of the person he loved most, was a really low blow. It’s no wonder he couldn’t believe good things could happen to him when everything had been so bad for him recently. His ex not only managed to take everything financially but also emotionally. How do you get over such a blatant betrayal? Cody could tell Lorcan needed some special TLC. Knowing what had happened to him only made Cody want to care for him even more. Lorcan didn’t want to get his hopes up that a man half his age would want anything to do with him. He didn’t want to hope and then have it all come crashing down. But Cody didn’t care about the age difference nor about what had happened to Lorcan. He could see how amazing he was and just wanted him to his pup. Cody knew it would take a lot of patience and love for Lorcan to let go of his beliefs of not being good enough for him. But he was willing to wait how ever long to make sure Lorcan knew how special he was. I honestly wish the ex suffered for what he did but I guess he got what he deserved 😂 At least Lorcan got his well deserved HEA and that’s enough for me. Another amazing job by Michael Dean. Whenever I see his name on an audio, I just know it’s gonna be great.

Cute and definitely makes me want to read the rest

This was sweet, healing and Ioved the expansive world clearly built around this series. It makes me want to go back and read the whole series. Also can’t wait for the next book!

I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet hurt/comfort romance, and I loved the dynamic between an older pup/younger Daddy. I loved both Lorcan and Cody. I felt so bad for Lorcan's life having turned upside down, no one having his back but his lawyer, and being suspected. Now he's trying to start his life over- which is not easy at his age. I thought the two of them were really sweet together, and Cody was exactly what he needed. He was patient and willing to help Lorcan at whatever pace he was comfortable with. I loved the way they connected. I also liked the supporting characters. 4 stars

Audiobook Review 1/4/26

I was excited to listen to this book. While I've listened to over a dozen of Gabbi Grey's audiobooks, this was the first with the the Daddy/pup dynamic. Michael Dean did a great job bringing Lorcan and Cody to life. I had no trouble distinguishing between their voices.
