Secrets and Suspense!

The Empath and the necromancer are quite a power pair. The world building continues to be stellar in this series. It is very page turning in listening form as well as you need to know what will be revealed next. In this second story we address the secrets that Jordan has been keeping. I was quite happy that their intimacy is able to grow here too. Guy Veryzer did a good job narrating our story and keeping with the tone of the first stories narrator.

Wonderful story!

I absolutely loved this story and it is even better in audiobook format. This is a continuation from the first book and you should read or listen to that book first. Bran is a smart guy who also is a necromancer and he can talk with the dead and see them too. Then we have Jordan who is a see’r and needs Bran’s help to free the souls and let the good go on and stop the bad from hurting others. I love how well they go together, they don’t want to be far from the other and that makes them stronger. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves mm ghostly romance stories especially when they are from BL Maxwell.

Challenges and discoveries

Jordan and Bran story continues with new developments, a threat that is more powerful, well kept secrets, and sweet endearing moments between our characters.
I liked how the narrator immersed us in the story with his cadence and voices, as well as the key points and the inflection it had.
The battle is not over, but they need to prepare with information and power to be able to defeat the threat.

Loved it

Living With The Dead is the second book in the Spirit Boys series. This series is part of an interconnected world so you may want to start with Valley Ghosts series then the Mystical Markings series then the novella Just Another Day at The Morgue where we are introduced to the main characters of this series and then the free short story The Cemetery Tour. Then you should read Dead Things the first book in the series..We are back with Jordan and Bran in this book. I loved the guys even more than I did. It was great to see the way they grow in all ways. I love the way BL Maxwell writes the characters and I love the world building. Just like in the other books there is a lot going on. I won't say much because I don't want to ruin the story for you. If get the audio narration, Guy Veryzer does a wonderful job of narrating this series. He makes the change in characters seamlessly. I can't wait to listen to the next book. I would definitely recommend this book and series, a definite 5 star read.

This is book 2 in BL Maxwell's series Spirit Boys. When I saw the audiobook pop up on Booksprout I just had to grab it. After listening to book one I definitely wanted to hear book two as well. The narrator changed between books, Allen Jeffries narrated book 1 and this one was narrated by Guy Veryzer. I'm not sure who did it best, both narrators have their quirks so it's not a big deal to me concerning who narrated it.

Book two took up where book one left off. Justice and ghost dog Buddy are back to help Bran, the necromancer, and Jordan, the empath, navigate the spirit world.

Family secrets are revealed, Jordan is becoming more, both guy's abilities are growing, help comes from a new place, brings some heat
