This novel is an easy read. The reader witnesses the growth of Coby Rodriguez, who was born with seven good souls. The souls are a secret power that assists her in special moments in her life. The reader roots for her, and the souls do not disappoint. We follow Coby through her career at West Point as she strives to become the first Lebanese-Puerto Rican Army General. The Pentagon chooses her to replace a US Captain at a Russian nuclear stockpile warehouse who was killed in an automobile accident (maybe). On her first day on the assignment, she discovers that ten of the warheads are missing. In pursuing the theft, the enemy, led by the diabolical Fahid, is planning to use the nukes to level the capitalist centers of the world, thereby driving up the value of his hoard of gold by 100 times. Later, Fahid attempts revenge in the most cruel way by kidnapping Coby's baby daughter. The interwoven stories are designed to keep the reader rooting for Coby. Her heroism is the basis for the next two books in the exciting Trilogy.
