From Clever/Cozy to Cloying

It’s natural for a series to run out of steam, but the author is close to going too cloying. That might just be personal tastes, so enjoy!

Suuuuch a nice ending that the smiles were almost painful

This was just so nice oh my goodness. I'm sad it's over but it's also a nice thing to have a series not go on seemingly forever and ever. Really well done! Can't wait to see more from author

Fine tea making story telling in a gentler world

The overall series was fine escape reading for me, and I am happy I found it. I enjoyed it very much. In this particular finale, I was expecting the wedding in chapter 38 to be someone else's closer to "home" and after that, felt a little cheated by how the rest of the information was conveyed, with a huge time jump and epilogue. But it didn't "ruin" the story. I did prefer the start of the story more than the ending, but that is often the case. Enjoyable storytelling. Very interesting world. Great, complicated magic and class system.
