From the most absurd styles and lingos to the stuff we just grew up with as kids, fads ARE what they are. And they STILL are, even if we don't get them. But is following a fad actually the death of individuality? And what do they say about character, or even ethics? Who knew fads even ran that deep? Rule #2 has always been what? NOTHING PERSONAL! Because for some reason these days all people do is take everything personally. Every differing opinion is a personal attack or flagrantly offensive. "Oh, I didn't like that movie," and "Oh, I don't like wearing shorts," and of course "Actually I act according to my own conscience." We're not hear to change people's minds, and we're certainly not here to make anyone feel bad. But eventually, shouldn't everyone take responsibility for their own sensitivities?
