This debut book by Better Hero Army stands to become the start of one of the best new zombie series with its action-packed story, great characters, and twists that keep you on your toes and breathless to the very end.

Fun listen

Really enjoyed the story, easy to get into and had action almost the entire time. Looking forward to listening to the next one in the series!

This was good!

I love zombie stories and this had new twists on the trope. I don't want to give away spoilers. The book is definitely worth the time to read.

the characters have so much personality

This was an enjoyable little story. the characters are memorable, the writing is great, and the world is lively. my big complaint, the book itself is too short. and that's not even really a complaint.

I really enjoyed this book, though I do wish there had been a little more information and background at the beginning to help set the stage. That said, I appreciated how it managed to bring something fresh to the zombie genre. Even though it’s been written so many times, this story had a unique twist that kept it engaging. Definitely worth a listen if you’re looking for a different take on a familiar theme.

Kept my interest

This is the first book I've listened to or read by this author. The story is a fun, zombie adventure that includes a half breed. This book held my interest throughout. I can't wait to listen to the second book. It's well written, and the narrator does a fantastic job.
