Couldn’t put it down!

While the author (and his co-author, brother) had a heart-wrenching childhood, they did an amazing job coming out of it as kind and functional humans. Fintan is very endearing and innocent, through it all, and while it’s too bad he and his brothers didn’t catch on to their father’s psychological manipulation and abuse until they were adults, it’s heartening that they did finally come to understand what they had been put through, and thus were able to overcome the trauma—at least enough to not repeat it, and to enable them to become happier. The story was well written and interesting enough that I couldn’t put it down, While the AI narrator definitely put the emphasis on the wrong words a fair amount, and occasionally mispronounced a name or word, I liked the voice.

Great story

This was a good story but because of virtual voice it was harder to understand because some words are read incorrectly and pauses are in weird spots.
