Donny stormed out of his boss’s office on the worst day of his professional career.

Demon world

The narrator did an amazing job bringing the characters to life. The story follows two different young adults through their terrifying encounter with “the collector.” They a drug to a hell-like planet or parallel world where they could end up being food for the devil creatures or potentially much more.

Overall the story was interesting and engaging. Where this book falls short is in the ending. It didn’t end and I now I must read the next to figure out what happens to these humans. Become food? Death? Set off a World ending apocalypse?

A true epic horror fantasy!

‘The Desired in the Damned’ is a horror fantasy that will drag you to Hell. I love the blending of horror with epic fantasy vibes that transport you into a world of monsters and chaos. Before I was a horror reader, I was a fantasy reader, and this mashup fills a reading void for me. Carl Bluesy’s world building is top notch, and his characters are believably flawed. You can’t help rooting for each and every one of them, the good and the ‘evil’. Shout out to Pam and James. I was instantly drawn to them, particularly Pam. I love that a female character can be brave in not such obvious ways. I can’t compare ‘The Desired in the Damned’ to anything I have read and that really excites me. Carl Bluesy has gained a reader, I can’t wait for book two!

E.W. Lloyd did an excellent job bringing ‘The Desired in the Damned’ to life. The story has great humor (I love humor in horror) sprinkled throughout and he nailed the delivery!
