Summer Haze
Stuck with a glued dildo, I never expected my firefighter neighbors to be the rescue team—and my new obsession.
Moving back to Harmony Valley was supposed to be about helping Grandpa and editing romance novels.
Instead, it's about Nash, Tate, and Aiden—three alpha firefighters who are too tempting to ignore.
Nash's nurturing spirit makes my heart race, Tate's teasing nature keeps me laughing, and Aiden's protective instincts set my soul on fire.
One embarrassing incident pulls us together, leading to unexpected, wildly unforgettable moments.
Can these silver foxes heal my past and ignite a new future? Or will old wounds and new fires be too much for our hearts to handle?
Silver Fox Firefighters Next Door is a steamy reverse harem romance that mixes humor, heart, and heat. Dive into Eve's world with Nash, Tate, and Aiden in an unforgettable story of passion, protection, and unexpected love—guaranteed HEA with every fiery twist and turn. For mature listeners.

Eve moved back home to care for her grandfather, which cost her a long term relationship, and hurt. Grandpa is back on his feet and has actively schemed to bring in mature, experienced, temporary firefighters as possible candidates for Eve’s new boyfriend. But Eve is attracted to all 3, and Nash, Aiden & Nate, are attracted to Eve. Sparks fly, sexy times are had. Bonus: we get more of Vera Hellstone who is the starting point for the next Haze series, Southern Heat.
Possible Spoilers:
I’m totally impressed with how the author wrote the scene where Eve meets the Firefighter/Paramedics who live next door. It was screamingly funny and believable enough. I’m exceedingly sensitive to humiliation for myself and others, and I didn’t need to skip the scene. Give that writer several gold stars!
deBorahae and Stone do a decent job of narration for the book and series. Too bad they didn’t get to do the Southern Heat series which has abysmal narrators. The Georgia/Alabama southern accent? Gobbledygook? was so bad I had to slow the speed and replay several sections. Ugh! I expected a little more twang for a Texas setting. For that series, try listening to previews to see if you can tolerate it, or try for an e or print versions.
