The sorority sisters send African American pledge Anijah Cox back to the frat house. Another day, another pledge punishment. She’s wearing a maid costume that leaves nothing to the imagination.
Garters. Sheer tights. Six-inch heels. If I don’t protect her… my brothers will have their revenge.

Were there some spots that made me distinctly uncomfortable? Yes. Did I finish the story to figure out what happened. Also yes.
The author REALLY leans into those themes, so it’s got to be intentional.
I really hope that Anija gets some kind of preservation instinct soon. Tuck is a weird character. I love the bully trope, but he’s not that. He’s more self serving than what I’d prefer in an MMC.
I will say that they’re behaving like college students, so A for accuracy. So many of the bully college romances have the characters behaving and speaking like people in their 40’s. These characters are young and dumb and behave as such.
I loved that the author was also the narrator. Very cool.
