Wow! Really enjoyed it!

I first discovered Eddie on YouTube (great content). His book was mentioned here and there, and I was curious, but am not much of a reader. So I was excited when I found out there was an audio version. I really enjoyed the stories told in Eddie’s familiar voice (So soothing). This is a really well written book with engaging stories. I thoroughly enjoyed Eddie’s thought provoking musings perfectly complimented with plenty of humor. Great book!

I NEED MORE!!!

Sooo when are we getting a part two?! I came here from the YouTube channel and I'm glad I did! This was very well done. Although it was a collection of short stories, it really felt like one cohesive book, written with a purpose. I love that the author narrated it himself as it made the book even more personal and relatable. I look forward to any future works!

Great delivery

Having worked as a ride share driver myself, I could relate to these stories just as I’m sure that many of us have had some pretty strange experiences as drivers. These are some pretty amazing stories and crazier than anything I’ve ever experienced. Some of it was poignant and thought provoking, some of these stories were pure gangster and many were laugh out loud funny, told with perfect comedic timing by the author. Hopefully Mr Doyle will write more books and maybe continue narrating them as well.

Funny with some substance

Really enjoyed this book. Ironically I found it an excellent listen while driving. I went into this book just expecting some funny and crazy Uber stories. It certainly has that but it also had a lot more than I was expecting. There’s a good balance of comedy, social commentary, and introspection. Highly recommend.

Great storytelling and engaging wordsmith.

I’m a rideshare driver with 17,000 rides under my belt. I have personally experienced almost everything that Eddie writes about in this book. I highly recommend this book to passengers who take Uber and Lyft to better understand what drivers experience. The stories are funny and well articulated, and also come with a healthy dose of introspection. The only criticism I would give is I wish he had dedicated perhaps a chapter or at least a few paragraphs that outline how devious, deceptive, and manipulative the Uber and Lyft platforms are as a business. But I understand that’s not what this book was intended to be.

Entertaining, engaging, and reasonable

Eddie does a great job of adding the right amount of descriptive flair to his stories. His reasonable understanding of different perspectives makes each chapter a thoughtful journey, as well as an entertaining one.

5 minutes in and I was hooked. This is a must listen for any rideshare driver, or anyone who wants a peek into that world.

One of the best books of story-telling!

Eddie Doyle is a great Philadelphia accented story-teller of events he experienced as an Uber driver. Is stories will make you laugh, question the civility of some people, and keep you wanting to hear more. The Audiobook is awesome and engaging, hard to turn off. "Unbelievable Stories of Driving Uber" is full of entertaining stories.
