Philomena Cunk makes history fun. It may not be accurate, but it is downright funny!

a swell book

this is a funny book. I enjoyed this shit. I laughed, I laughed while driving, while at work, doing chores, walking the dog, taking a shower and taking out the trash, I learned so much history. im so full, I gained weight. ive gained about 50lb of history. im so smart now I should go back to college.

Not to raise expectations, but I have never laughed out loud at the dedication. Cunk is hilarious.

Hilarious

I’ve love Philomena Cunk for years now. When I found out there was a book. I immediately went to Audible hoping it was available and Philomena read it. You’ll laugh from the intro on. Great book

Brilliantly hilarious; I laughed out loud throughout

This was so clever and hilarious that I had to re-listen to sentences and sections to catch all of Philomena’s brilliance. This may have been the funniest book I’ve ever read. 10 stars, please.

can't get enough Cunk!

Philomena Cunk is my favorite! She presents history in a way that makes me laugh, and want to learn more history. More accurate history. I have listened to this twice, and I laughed both times. If you have heard or seen her before, you know what to expect. If you haven't, you don't know what you're missing. It may not be for everyone, but if you like to laugh and learn (a bit), you'll probably like this.

Humor and the author’s use of language, clever and entertaining.

Was good up until the last chapter discussing the 2024 US presidential elections. I feel the book could have been concluded without any comments on Trump and Biden. Leave the boot before any presidential conventions and use that as an opener for the next histories to be discovered and written. Easy listen,
