Robotic performances! 🥹

I like this book for the first few minutes. It had a really great, exciting plot and I love military romance books. The narration is very good, but the script is really holding them back. It seemed a bit robotic the way they delivered their lines, but the narrators didn’t write the script. I’ve listened to both of these narrators before so I know they both do a stellar job. After a few minutes, the story just did not make any sense. Kidnapping someone who was kidnapped yada yada yada… ridiculous! The book went nowhere fast. I ended up fast forwarding several parts. Just could not take any more of this! Uhh! Parts of this were very repetitive while other parts were just plain boring. I was hoping for more action other than them just sitting in the cabin. Etc! (seriously who would want to be handcuffed next to someone going number two in the bathroom -give me a break- 😮‍💨) Also hoping for a lot more romance which this book did not produce. Definitely not my cup of tea. Perhaps you’ll love it. Namaste romance lovers.🥰

authors please read

if pages after pages of your writing is inside a character's head....STOP....it is boring. 75 % of this book is someone talking in their head. I finished the book just to see if anything exciting was going to happen. a few pages only. so tired of trying new authors who 1) spend little time with a character talking to themselves and 2) stupid misunderstandings
