About this listen

The Xaros attacked Earth without warning. The Xaros attacked without mercy.

From the deep void, the Xaros came for humanity. Unfeeling, uncaring drones swept over humanity's nascent presence in the outer solar system. When word reached Earth… we weren't ready. Only one man knew the truth of the threat and he was powerless to help anyone survive.

Strike Marines fight through Los Angeles under assault by murderous drones. A fighter pilot determined to reunite with his family. Armor soldiers stand against the darkness. This is the story of the Fall of Earth.

Pretty good prequel to the ember war series

Luke Daniels is such a talented individual. To keep these character’s voices the same through almost 20 books and give it the real feel of theater. How amazing. Great story too. Richard Fox is very talented as well. I actually learn stuff from this story. Telomere lengths. Various culture traditions and information. Military terminology and procedure. The comedy is pretty good too. Bravo gentlemen

Top Tier!!!

This series is one of the best I've ever lisenedt to. I love every single one of these books. And I appreciate every effort put forward by the voice actor and the author in their efforts to flesh out such an intense alternative to our current reality. Will always be a fan for sure lol

Gott Mitt Uns!

I've probably listened to the complete Ember War Saga a couple dozen times at this point... they're my absolute favorite. This novel is a perfect addition to the best (and remarkably based) science fiction series out there!

Yes, yes, yes! Insta-buy

I've listened to the entire universe multiple times through. I went through this in a single day, and I really hope there is more coming.

The basic premise felt new.

The perspective is one that’s rarely explored in sci-fi. It was good and added something solid to the Emberverse.
