Cute, fun and funny take on Litrpg books, but...

why do these books, (the female led litrpg books) always go from wholesome and cute to lesbians? I dropped the book after Annie started fantasizing about kissing a girl all day.
Shame. I enjoyed a lot about the premise and writing

Who Framed Roger Rabbit meets The Truman Show meats Superheroes meets Litrpg.....wow. This certainly is one of the most ambitious and unique stories i have ever heard of. At first it's clear lack of seriousness and zany antics seemed like this book wasn't going to be for me, and yet i kept listening and kept laughing until i realized it was nearly four in the morning and i hadn't slept for nearly 24 hours and STILL i wanted MOAR!!!
Look i get it, if you want something far more realistic this book will drive you nuts and you will hate it. However, that said if you can just let this story be what IT wants to be then you will have one heck of a good ride. It's not perfect or anything, pretty sure the stat sheet was just plain wrong for the last 1/3 of the book and it can meander a little bit at times getting distracted and completely ignoring characters that aren't immediately on screen, Still i would very much recommend it to people. Lol just as an aside i think one of the things i loved most about this book is that for all of it's whimsy and silliness it probably has one of the most realistic outcomes for what would happen if an MC tried to punch above their weight class before they were ready i.e. they get stomped....HARD. So if you want to watch a struggling child actress/heroine try and make it into the big leagues and become a real star then this book just might be for you!!!!

Gripping and fun super litrpg

story is amazing! great characterization, engaging plot, and surprise twist moments done right! be careful this book consumes your life til you get to the end. it has a satisfying ending while setting the stage for excitement in book 2. Gotta go start the next book excited to see what happens!!!

World is interesting but MC is kinda terrible

I like the world, system, and the fights but the MC is horrible with all her interpersonal relationships. Like she'll put boundaries that are completely fair up for her boyfriend but then get mad at him for not breaking those boundaries. She treats everyone else she is "friends" with as a thing to benefit from. It is completely believable for a young college student regardless of gender but it isn't enjoyable.

pretty good time

This book was pretty good, the style system is interesting as is some of the world building and the characters. The narration is good for the most part but the stat reads and a few other small parts felt a little clunky, still really good overall.
