Even better than the print book!
Michele Weslander Quaid has made a wonderful contribution to the world with her book Change Your Stars. The stories from her life are so engaging that it is like watching a movie. While audiobooks are convenient, it is a rare treat when they bring something more than the print book. This is one such example where Michele shares her life story with depth, humor, and surprises. She demonstrates that the circumstances to which you were born do not determine where you can go in life and that the American Dream is still accessible for anyone who will be persistent and work hard, especially when energized by faith and a desire to serve others. Not only that, but because of the passion in which she reads it herself, it is all the easier to believe these truths apply to me and anyone else. There is something in this book for everyone. Michele’s wisdom and insight would be beneficial for young people who are just getting started charting their future. Michele also affords us a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense in a very human way that will bring insights to people of all ages. I highly recommend it!
