Valuable leadership lessons from a top housing expert

Those involved in housing or interested in solving our nation’s housing crisis should read this book. Eugene gives many examples of the issues and politics plaguing housing, from some of the top housing authorities. I particularly enjoyed his chapters on leadership lessons!

Compassion!!

What a great audible! I read the book a couple of times but the audible really gives a better sense of the strong compassion Eugene has always had in the housing industry!

Just keep in mind it’s a memoir

It should be labeled as an autobiography, not a solution to homelessness. Very disappointed in the entire experience as it gives the impression it will teach us how to help but I am still at a loss of what to do to get started. Housing teens who age out of foster care to prevent homelessness is my priority and this did nothing to help. Glad he’s lived an awesome life helping others. It’s just not the book I thought it would be.
