Age gap. she needs protection.

Short and so sexy sweet! A 30 year age gap. Is that too much? Check it out.

I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. The narration brings these characters to life. Umi Markkanan has a pleasant sweet voice for the FMC. Her male voices are even very good. She's a narrator to follow. 5 stars plus for her.

Excellent story!

Clarity has suffered at the hands of most of the adults in her life in so many ways. She is dedicated to her son, Caleb, but they're homeless and Scratch finds them sleeping outside his shop. He belongs to Devil's Boneyard MC and this gruff biker can't see them sleeping outside for another night, so he takes them in. Clarity isn't sure of what to make of Scratch, but she can't deny how safe he makes her feel. There's an age gap of 30 years, but it really didn't pull me out of the book. The way they were written made them real. As they grow closer to each other, there's some family drama with Scratch's daughter, Darian. She can't believe that her father has fallen for someone younger than she, but it soon becomes obvious how much they mean to each other. I was happily surprised by the twist in the story of Clarity learning about her real identity as an heiress!
I always look forward to the narration of Umi Markkanen. She meets and surpasses my expectations!

Great story

Clarity is in a tough spot. She has a son to think of and life keeps throwing her curve balls. Meeting Scratch, who is way older than she is, was not in the cards and neither expects to fall for the other. It is an interesting story and I rather enjoyed it.

Fierce Kitten

Clarity "Kitten" (Parkhurst) Davis and her son Caleb have had such a rough go of things. I adore how Damon "Scratch" stepped in to help and his regular reassurances that they are safe.

While the whole book is fantastic, Clarity claiming Scratch was the bomb! Absolute perfection! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Umi Markkanen who continues to do a terrific job with all the characters.

I love Harley Wylde's books. They are all so wonderfully written. They are short and sweet. There is a 30 year age gap. Clarity is in a tough spot with her and her son. Scratch is the VP to the Devil Boneyard MC's.
