Facing the Tyrant King . . .

After the bitter war they have just come through, the young dragon rider Pieter is having a difficult time adjusting. His dragon, Gloriox, will do whatever possible to help him heal physically, but it seems things just won’t settle down. When they travel to Chamenos, they discover that the troubles have already begun. Gloriox’s niece has been captured, and all of the other dragons have disappeared. Now the two of them must find Gloriox’s niece. They will have to face the tyrant king’s dark magic and Pieter will have to find the courage within him to defeat the king. Is Pieter ready for yet another fierce battle? Will his weak magic strengthen to meet the challenge?

I just love dragon stories, and this author excels at writing them! Gloriox has quite a personality and, of course, is my favorite. The narrator for the audiobook version is Amelia Hugh. She does an excellent job with the voices to make it easy for the listener to get an accurate idea of what each character is like and to feel the tension of the storm raging around them, escalating the effect of the difficulties they encounter. The narrator’s skills help to set the mood and provides an enjoyable, hands-free way to “read” the exciting book.

I've come to enjoy reading and or listening to this authors stories and this one is no exception. It is good for all ages.

Another great series

I love all this authors work. I’m almost to the end of her books and will be awaiting the next series. This was one of my favorite narrators as well as series- my only complaint about some of these books is the person who reads them but this is a great narrator. I say this in the hopes that the author will somehow see it and choose this narrator for the future!

The character work and story line of each book was well written and will keep you coming back for more, making this a great boxed set. Amelia Hugh did a great job of breathing life into this series and making it fun to listen to.

This has three books on audio and so a wonderful to be able to listen to these stories. I love it makes them come to life Ava Richardson knows how to tell a story about dragons.

Wow

I loved listening to this whole series. Great voice vocals. Suspense, danger and more. The cost is well worth all the hours of listening to this series. Follow Pieter as he goes against the king.

Great story line and characters.

Overall a great read. Narrator did a great job bringing characters to life. Totally enjoyed this book.

Wonderful series

I absolutely enjoyed this series. The plot was tight and held together well. I enjoyed the characters and the relationships amongst them. Tears formed in numerous parts of the story because of those well-developed relationships. The narrator was wonderful, maintaining the story and characters the entire time.

This series is written so well I really can’t say enough about it. It really just draws you and and you hate to stop the audiobook most definitely spellbinding.

Just not for me. You might like it if you enjoy watching the Hallmark Christmas movies.
