I have listened to other audiobooks about investing for teenagers, and what I really like about this book and what I think makes it stand out from the rest is that it starts with the basics. Things like what is an expense, what is a bank statement, what does it mean, and how should you adjust your spending accordingly. It covers things like what are the differences between bonds, stocks, and mutual funds. These are all important concepts that form the foundation for understanding finance.

I found the section on ETFs and mutual funds to be the most informative. This is a great resource to use as a starting point in your child's/teen's financial education.

Great resource to prepare teens to build wealth

This is a must read for every teen and young adult. The book is a great resource to introduce young people to the basic concepts of financial literacy, investing, and wealth building. I especially like the simple road map the book provides to set teens on their way to understand investing and determine the type of investor they want to be based on the risk and rewards. The author describes the advantages of investing at a young age to enjoy compound investing. I also love the section about financial discipline. I'm going to share the book with my teen age nephew and will definitely share with my son when he is old enough to understand the information.

This a great book for a young investor to start learning how to invest, what to invest in, and a thorough explanation and breakdown of the terms and expectations of investing. Really down to earth, letting the listener know that investing is for long-term goals; not immediate gratification. Great for any teen or beginner to start off with. :)
