Absorbing story

Since I’ve always loathed the Tudors, I appreciated their depiction. Be warned, there is a vivid description of torture on the Rack along with many cruel and evil characters. The darkness is relieved by the determined love of Ludovic and Alison who overcome daunting obstacles to reach their HEA. Just as with the other books in this series, I was completely absorbed.

So worth the credit

Found this author. by searching Gildart Jackson's narations and I'm so pleased I did. Book 1 -4 are all excellent and the listener is pulled into these stories. They will be listened to again. . Gilbert Jackson does an amazing job of narration. Barbara Gaskell Denvil writes an engrossing, enjoyable story. Well Done! An author I follow now.

My most favorite in these series so far!

I absolutely loved the book. I consider myself a harsh critic. But the characters, the story building was just beyond everything I’ve expected. The way Barbara approached mental illness in this book was soheart wrenching. Thank you for being such a great writer and for being you until the end.
