love the shrooms not a big fan of the princess

The princess isn't bad she's just very naive The story itself is Great I absolutely love it but Definitely requires a lot of patience when listening to the princesses thoughts

Sweet

Funny writing and silly situations. Our heroine is likeable, if a little self deprecating. She does make it clear she won’t put up with any BS anymore which I loved.

Richardson does a great narration. Ready to listen to volume 2!

The Mushrooms

I did like the story and I'm going to listen to the second. However her denseness really started to get on my nerves.

Great performance dumb princess

The performance was good. But the denseness and naivety of the princess was too much… I get the brainwashing bit, but it wasn’t portrayed well

Very enjoyable read and looking forward to Vol 2.

Seeing the title something told me I would enjoy reading this and I was right. Loved Diana Richardsons narration to this book as she really nailed the character's range of emotions especially Anges. I honestly look forward to reading more books from Hanami, while waiting at the bit to listen to Vol. 2 of this book about love and Mushrooms ^^

Wonderful story and amazing performance

The story is so adorable and fun and the narrator does such a wonderful job to make it all that much more engaging.

Loved it

Fun story with some quality comedy. The prince abusing his power was a bit off-putting, but makes sense with the time period the story is based on. All in all, love the story.

Neat... Fun... Aggravating

Nice voice work, clean recording. The story is a bit hit or miss. By hit or miss, I mean that the story overall is nice, BUT the "princess" leans into it a bit too hard.

It's an Anime, but an audiobook

If you can't understand how an anime character acts, don't read this novel thinking you're going to understand the MC.

I wanted to like it but...

First and foremost it uses a lot of woke language. And the female lead is insufferable outside of the first couple of chapters. She really has no character growth. She treats the male lead as a pervert and creep even though his only real flaw is his passion for mushrooms. It tries to be funny but falls flat more often than not. it was a good concept just not excited we'll. The narrator does a great job and I would love to hear a better story read by her.
