I absolutely LOVE this series as well as the King Fountain series, as well as his other books/series, The King Fountain, The first Argentines, Dawning of Muirwood, and Legends of Muirwood! I love the whole storyline especially since each series can be randomly or you can read them in kinda of a sequence cause their all connected from the past and other world where the Mastons go to another to survive to the new world where the murrid ones don't rule!! Absolutely captivating!!!

It was good to hear a great love story with a happy ending and not just mayhem and machinations!
Well written flowed easily and of course Kate Rudd is the Ultimate narrator for this series.
It seemed rather short and flat compared to previous books by this author

Fantastic book by Jeff wheeler as usual. I love these books and this series. I also haven’t had to worry about there being any unneeded language. I can happily endorse these books even to younger adults.

I love Jeff Wheeler’s stories and I specifically love the Kings poisoner, Ankarette Tryneowy. She was part of other series that Jeff Wheeler has also I was thrilled to see that this one is just about her life. she’s dedicated her whole life to this serving the king. The service is costing her life. In the previous book, she was robbed of her love, who chose another woman for status. I was so happy to see that she was starting to give Love a chance in this book. Don’t miss it.
