Wow! Shilpi gives us another novel interwoven with thought-provoking topics like ethnicity and race in America, prejudice, social justice and what it means to be in community. Thank you again!

Incredible story

This book was so layered with so many different nuances for people to consider. The author did such a lovely job of illustrating, the complexities of different ethnicities, different occupations, and different caste systems… and there were several other social justice issues, but she cleverly gave each a different view so that it made you think about that person’s life experience. It’s a good lesson to consider one another’s journey instead of being so quick to judge or make assumptions.
