Love this!!

I’m a huge fan of Alex Lidell. I love all her work and this series is no different!

Worth the Wait

Alright, while waiting for the print version of book 2 to come out, I dove into the audiobook instead. After book 1, I was skeptical of how this would progress.

We are able to get a deeper look into the history of the kingdom the dragons rule, and the undercurrents that control the politics of this world. The tension building up for the Equinox becomes palpable as the days pass.

I'll say this, yes the relationship growth is odd-paced. We left off book 1 with Kit agreeing to help the Princes and be trained in all things, but as a business transaction for her freedom. She wants things cut and dry, and is finding out the hard way it's not that easy. I am rooting for Kit's independent ways, and that she can keep her own identity through the trials that await the pack.

The build-up pacing is also a little odd, but as this is part of (I am assuming) a quartet, I understand how challenging it is to balance this across many volumes.

I have some guesses as to where we go next, and can't wait to be delightfully surprised and spoiled by the shenanigans Kit causes for her Princes!

If you are reading this after Summer 2024, check to see if there is a 5th book before buying. This series is Bingeworthy!

Excellent world and character building! Sparks fly and intrigue weaves through story. Action and chemistry leap off the pages. Will be looking for more Alex Liddell books if they are all like this. Loved it and added to favorites.

So, why just add to WISH LIST? This is one of those series that you will want to BINGE. Book 4 doesn’t release until Summer 2024.

I actually gasped when book 2 ended on a flippin cliffhanger! Luckily, book 3 was on Audible, not sure why it wasn’t with rest of series. (Look for it.)

Save yourself THAT TRAUMA 🤣

If you are like me and HATE waiting months for the next book, set the first 3 in your Wish List and mark your calendar for the release of the 4th.

Worth Reading

I am loving this series. I’m rooting for the heroine. There’s twists and turns as the story progresses. All characters are further developing. It’s the best kind of fantasy with slow building romantic relationships. I have no regrets in choosing to read it-can’t wait for next chapter.
