Publisher's summary

In the wake of her father’s death, lonely Juliet Harrison struggles with the guilt over her loss.

She deals with it the way she deals with everything: by burying her feelings beneath impulsive decisions and desecrating the local graveyard. But Juliet isn’t as invisible as she believes.

Hiding out from the ghosts of his past, Kieran Ivers is known in King’s Trace as a homicidal hermit. But the rumors don’t stop him from visiting the cemetery to taunt his late brother’s remains.

It’s there he first spots a woman engaging in lascivious acts on her father’s grave and becomes enraptured by the darkness surrounding her. When she leaves behind a necklace, Kieran finds and keeps it until he can score a meeting with the mysterious siren.

He doesn’t know she’s the sister-in-law of his rival or that she is drowning in her sadness. Nor does he care.

Once he’s decided what he wants, he’ll stop at nothing to get her.

From international bestselling author Sav R. Miller comes a steamy and twisted love story between two humans haunted by their pasts. Sweet Solitude is the second interconnected standalone in the King's Trace Antiheroes series, a dark romance trilogy revolving around a corrupt small town in Maine. Listener discretion is advised.

King’s Trace - Daddy Kieran + Juliet

📚- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kieran and Juliet 🩵🤍 when I first discovered Sav R Miller, it was with her Promises and Pomegranate series and after finishing that, I decided to start where it all began and I am so happy I did. If you haven’t picked up or listened to this series yet, I highly recommend to start with King’s Trace before making your way over to Aplana Island. Prepare for the amazing ride! 🥀

4 I Will Dull My Edges STARS

I enjoyed the dual narration although I find the female narrator a little too aggressive at times when narrated the male main character.

Dominant hero who will unalive to protect the heroine, yes please! The heroine is sister to the heroine in the first book. She is promiscuous and drinks a lot and I liked that she wasn’t a virginal heroine. If you like books full of secrets with a jealous possessive hero you’ll like this book.

You get sucked in with every book!

I discovered this author quite by accident in her first series Monsters and Muses. I was hooked and am now an avid fan. This series which includes cameos from the first series, is based in Maine in a quaint little town filled with the corruption of mafias and the crimes that follow. This story follows the demons that plague Kieran and Juliet. Both have demons from family members, both find their own way of coping and both have a darkness that is resolved when the are together. 5 beautiful stars for them finding each other. HOWEVER, some of the intimacy scenes are stomach churning. No spoilers here. Just gross to the average person. Otherwise it is a dark romance, it will have triggers for some, and it touches on so many aspects of the underworld that some may find it disturbing. If you like run of the mill dark romances that concentrate on sexual proclivities, this is NOT the story for you. The author truly is gifted with prose. She writes, and if you are looking for the mass produced romances this is NOT the book for you. However if you enjoy a good plot, highly developed characters and a well written and executed story this IS the book for you. I recommend reading anything she has written because she is truly gifted. I admittedly read the books first before purchasing the audio version. That is just how good her stories are.

Plot is AMAZING!!!

This series is fricken awesome! such an amazing story line! The narrators did a wicked awesome job. The only thing I would change, is to make it duet rather than dual. That's the only reason why I gave the performance only 4 stars. Definitely worth the credit!!
