Publisher's summary

Who needs a Class when you're already the strongest anyways?

Ten years ago, Amelia woke up alone and lost in a broken world where she had to fight for her survival.

Now, after reaching the pinnacle of power, defeating the Void itself, and escaping the abyss, she has finally found her way back into the real world.

But instead of returning to Earth, she arrives in the land of Vacuos. A fantasy world with magic, monsters, Classes, and Levels. A world that is governed by a System like it were a video game.

When rewarded with a Class befitting her accomplishments—to become a powerful [Hero] that will forever dedicate her life to protecting this world that is not her own—she only has one response: “Absolutely not. I’m going to live a normal life now, thank you very much.”

Wow

I wish there were more in this genre that were this good. I’ve already purchased the book 2 and am looking forward to listening to it. Really a different twist on the genre and a fun listen. Some minor pronunciation errors but nothing glaringly bad.

Good stuff

This was a fun story that I very much enjoyed. There are plenty of feel good moments with an overpowered main character in the style of one punch man. I loved the board attitude of the main character. there are some minor technical issues with the writing, perhaps due to self publishing, but this is overall a five star story. If you enjoy books with plenty of nice slice of life moments, Check it out.

One strike

Amelia saved the world before even stepping into it so now all the starter quests and epic struggles are boring lucky her she has a sidekick who still has to power up its caped baldy and demon cyborg all over again and I love it

Definitely not what I was expecting.

What is to be done, if the chosen hero, doesn't want the job?
After being ripped from Earth, and fighting for survival endlessly for more than ten years in the fractured void, Amelia finally beats back the Void God, and is dumped onto another world, only for some strange game mechanics system demanding she accept the Hero, class and fight endlessly. Well she's had enough of fighting, so she refuses. She just wants some peace and a quiet life.
Now what's the system supposed to do?

Entertaining and worth picking up on sale of for one credit

Entertaining light novel style book. Fun story, filled with anime and Manga style one dimensional character tropes.

A great story and love the amazingly overpowered main character. Wish there were more stories like this out there keep up the good work and can’t wait to read the next book.

Good Story

There is a lot to like about this story. Amelia feels like a real person with complexity and goals. Her rejection of the system isn’t just done out of ignorance or stubbornness but something core to her personality. The world is interesting and the other characters likewise flushed out.

This book is also somewhat irreverent and takes a look at itself and the genre which is great if you’re the introspective type. This is easily ignored if it’s not something you care about.

For me personally it’s not a slam dunk as I sometimes found scenes to simply be waiting for Amelia to show up. This didn’t happen often, a challenge the author handled well, but it was noticeable.
