Friends Little Sister Romance

Rough and Ready by Mari Carr is a friends little sister romance that I listened on audio narrated by Marina Barrett, Theo Sinclair, and Oliver Highpoint. This is the third book in the Italian Stallions series.

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Gio, Rafe, and Keeley. I liked that we got all of their points of views throughout the story. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Wild and Wicked so I can get Gianna and Elio's story.

Marina, Theo, and Oliver did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like friend's little sister romance, friends to lover's romance, boss romance, or contemporary romance.

Book 3 - Italian Stallions

This is book 3 in Carr's Italian Stallions series and can be read / listened to as a standalone but there are repeat characters from previous books in the series that make appearances. I really liked that Carr does such a great job wheedling a storyline with the menage chemistry. So often times it's just a good storyline and characters OR lots of great, steamy chemistry and sex scenes. Carr manages a great balance of both, which I so very much appreciate. This book is the story of Keeley who's dating life is a disaster - loved the stories of these disasters btw. Then her brothers besties Rafe and Gio who have had completely different upbringings when it comes to family and love. The chemistry is undeniable but with a menage, everyone needs to be on the same page or things tend to fall apart. Will everyone get on board for a forever love or will this be an affair that sizzles and dies?!? Add to that dynamic a fun haunted house and this book delivers on every front for me! Perfect narration with all three Marina Barrett, Theo Sinclair, and Oliver Highpoint who amaze in bringing characters to life -Well done with these vocals!

This is the third book in the Italian Stallions series. Rafe inherits his grandfather’s businesses and properties. He decides to ask Keeley to start working form him. He needs her help with the businesses and cleaning out his grandparents mansion. His best friend Gio is a contractor that works in in refurbishing and renovating homes. Gio and Rafe decide to turn the mansion into a Bed and Breakfast. They had never really noticed Keeley other than their friend’s little sister. As the time goes on and the three get to know each other more, the dynamics begin to change. Gio and Rafe have shared women in the past. Gio wants to find a woman and start a family while including Rafe. However Rafe was raised by a mother that was with husband number five. Rafe always retreats when the girls in the past started getting feelings during their arrangement with Gio. Keeley is different they both really like her. Rafe just needs to stop running and start loving. Marina Barrett, Theo Sinclair, and Oliver Highpoint did a great job narrating this book.

Great story

Great love story. Both men were hot as hell and sexy with their dirty talk. Great listen

Are you serious! what kinda ending was that? I mean it's a happy one. but there should have been a bit more. I'm so glad that they worked things out though. I did cry a bit when Rafe did what he did. but I'm so glad that they didn't give up on him. oh, I just loved the part, how they ended up crashing Rafes date. I thought that was so cute. because that's what they would do to her. the narrators did an amazing job too
