Publisher's summary

They say bad things happen in threes.

The first was when I lost my parents.

The second came when I had to leave behind everything I knew to move across the world to live with my only remaining relative.

But what was life for, if not for living? So I kept moving.

Then the third thing happened, just as I was about to begin my junior year at the prestigious Blackstone University.

I caught the eye of not one, not two, but three of the most infamous guys on campus. The three guys from the wrong side of the tracks.

Saint, Mateo, and Callum.

And now that they have me in their sights, I know that there's nowhere I can hide.

There's no escape from the Boneyard Kings.

Merciless Kings is a reverse harem romance with enemies to lovers and bullying themes. This is book one in the Boneyard Kings series and cannot be listened to as a stand-alone.

Interesting unsolved puzzle

This is an interesting story. You are left in the dark trying to piece together what it is that is motivating these guys against Everly. I enjoy that it’s a bully romance but not as harsh as some bully romances I have read. There is definitely still lots of spice and I wish Everly had fought more with her own desires for these guys and made them really work hard for it or at least built up more angst. I will definitely continue the series. I really enjoy the connection of these guys as “brothers” who will do anything to keep each other safe and fight for what they believe is the best justice. I look forward for all the pieces to fall into place. The narration is fantastic with Stella, Teddy, JF Harding and Oscar who I have never heard before. They are able to connect the listener to the emotion their characters are portraying.

I NEED book 2!

Gah! What to say. It’s a messed up, bully “romance” with a British girl and her 3 boys from the other side of the tracks. This chick is no simpering maiden though, she plays chess with the best of them. Unluckily for her- she had no idea she had been playing since she first came across their board. I thought for sure the guys would give her the benefit of the doubt, but the moment they took something out of context- they pounced.. and I mean pounced! Wow that ending. Talk about a cliffhanger! I devoured this book and can’t wait to hear what happens next!!

What a shocker of an ending!

1st person/multi pov
Spice: 3.5/5

Well, this was interesting to read/listen to. For starters, I love the fact it is multicast audio and it really elevated the audiobook to be able to listen to it told that way. The story overall was mysterious and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what this big revenge plot is all about. The guys are bad but somehow not as awful as I was expecting them to be. Not that they were angels obviously but I did feel the bullying was not as heavy as some others I have read. The spice was minimal but with this being the beginning of a series where they are getting to know each other that is to be expected.
I still have so many questions about what is going on and what really happened that have these guys so set on seeking revenge but again it's not a standalone so it's expected. But that ending!!! OMG! I'm so kicking myself for not already having the second and third books in my library to that I can immediately start them. Best believe I will have them ASAP though because I am dying to know what happens after that startling event!

Wow!

This book was not what I was expecting but I found myself captivated by the Boneyard Kings. I will definitely be getting the next book in this series because I need to know what is going to happen to Everly.

Good Read

The first book seems more like an introduction to the character's lives and personalities. It was a quick read and I'm looking forward to watching this story play out.

Merciless Kings

I loved this book when I read it last year but listen to it on Audible just brings new life to the story. Teddy Hamilton, J.F. Harding and Oscar Reyes have done a wonderful job with the narration. This is the first book I've listened to where all the MMC have their own narrator, I really enjoyed how each King was portrayed. Stella Hunter was fantastic as Everly, she was just how I imagined her to be.

Merciless Kings is the first novel in the Boneyard Kings Series, it is a Muilt-Point of View Reverse Haram. Be prepared to be left with many questions and a gut wrenching cliffhanger. It leaves you wanting for answers and more of the story. I can't wait until the other books are released on Audible.

Loved it!

I read this book when it was released but listening to it hits different. These Kings are 🥵🥵🥵. It’s hard to read and get the real feel of a British accent in my head so I really enjoyed that addition to the story.
