Publisher's summary

Several years have passed since the war with the djevels ended, the reality they'd infested was destroyed, and their king killed.

But that left Sean and the lions faced with another problem: the million or so djevels currently in the world that needed to be hunted down and killed. Part of the solution was to fence in the biggest area that was infested to stop them from spreading any further, while teams began hunting down the ones that had escaped. It's not an easy job, but it's a lot easier than the previous one by far.

While constant vigilance is better than constant battle, it's still constant. Plus, fights do crop up from time to time, but the enemy is sneaky and underhanded, so trouble will always come from the corner you least expect it. The world is also now a much different place now that the war is over. Everyone now knows about magic, lycans, djevels, dwarves, elves, and all rest.

Worse still is that it's not done changing as everyone has to learn to face the reality that there are demons in the world today, and they can and will show up where you least expect it. No one truly knows what the future holds anymore, other than the lions have their work cut out for them, for the next several hundred years.

Everyday, Including Holidays contains all those things that you promised your mother you'd never expose yourself to, but you do it now in the privacy of your own home where she isn't watching! That's right, things like explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, robbery, murder, demons doing nasty things, self-defense, proactive self-defense, breaking and entering on a grand scale, theft of government property, LGOPS, unscrupulous and manipulative people, polyamory, explicit sex, mayhem, wiseass Marines, puking children, and a pair of nosy neighbors who discovered that means the police knock on your door first!

an excellent storage to bridge the 2 Series'

so by the time the audio came out for this I had already read the book twice. it's awesome that Leland King came back to do this book. he's done an amazing job with the series. I got no idea whether or not he's going to be the narrator for any of the other work by this author. If he doesn't then this is a good place to stop. the team that's going to be handling the Heritage series is one in which I am very familiar with. Their turnaround seems to be quite quick and they do a fantastic job. I could not wait for those audiobooks drop and I've already read them. If you're not sure about continuing on I strongly urge you to do so as I think those stories are well worth it. Not all that Glitters Is Gold but I think of them as the beginning of something as opposed to the continuation and keep in mind that Beginnings have a tendency to be shaky endeavors. because they're covering two of the sons you're essentially ending up with two beginnings. the third one is already out and trust me it's amazing. lastly, I want to say thank you to everybody who's had a hand in bringing this audiobook To Us, the listeners. well done all around.

Everything I love about a Jan Stryvant book.

I loved listening to the latest in the series. I can't wait for Mihalis, and also for Sean (SJ).

I absolutely loved this book. It was liking putting on your most confrontable clothes and having your most favorite meal. Getting to listen to new Valens book was so wonderful I can not express it enough.

Rivetting.

The very compelling book where the whole adventure culminates. Masterfully done. No flaws. The Sean character and his tribes engage in very satisfying, loose-ends-tying behaviours and the reader feels... part of it!

Best transition book

This is probably the best transition book between two series that I currently know of. Now I'm eager to jump into Mihalis.

Bitter sweet

This book was definitely written for the fans of this series! The author may be moving on to a new direction with this series and its characters, so if this is the last of the line, I appreciate the way he came back to give the fans a bit of closure that was lacking when we thought the series wrapped. The story can go either way now without complaints. His writing is always purposeful especially in this genre and I appreciate the quality even when I would prefer quantity in this case.
There is no question that I will buy the new series that was previewed. Frankly I want more of every series or novel I have listened to from this author.

Sad it's over but ecstatic about the new series!

I love this legacy! I thought 17 was the last of the book but when I went back to listen to it once again low and behold there was another.
