Their chemistry and honesty really invests you in what the final result will be for them!! I love that although they have separate dreams, it always leads to the same path. They are always so considerate of one another, even when they’re apart or life gets in the way! Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro bring their story to life by allowing the listener to hear the emotions and vulnerability of the characters! Looking forward to more!!

Heating Up

Things are really heating up between Tyler and Annie. We even got some steamy moments. And they’re both finally giving in to their feelings. Other than Jax still being a jerk, everything is good. Of course, it was all going too well. I knew there would be a cliffhanger and there was enough foreshadowing to indicate what would happen. Yet, it still felt a little cliché. A little too convenient to the story. A little cringey. But it did have me going immediately to the next book, so I suppose it was ultimately effective.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Amazing Series!

Piper Lawson continues to wow me with the second book in her “Rivals” series, a continuation of Tyler and Annie’s story, so be sure to start the series with the first book, “A Love Song for Liars”. This book, like the first, grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. We watched Tyler crush Annie’s heart in the first book, but fate is not done with these two and they find themselves in each other’s lives again. Annie attended the college she auditioned despite knowing Tyler was in the same school, she figured it was big enough and they probably would not cross paths, right? Going to this school is a great opportunity for her and it is something she wants to pursue even without her father’s support. What he does not know can not hurt him, right? Wrong on both accounts, the school may be large, but those who are majoring in the same field cross paths frequently and it does not take long for them to wind up back in each other’s life. Tyler realizes how much of a mistake he made leaving when and how he did, he wants to make things right, but will Annie let him? Annie grew up so much in the time he had not seen her, but he still sees her old sweet self within her. These two were great together and for each other, they made a great team and beautiful music together. There is never a dull moment in this book, it is a wonderfully written and plotted story with the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and a romance that was years in the making. That ending, oh my, you are mean Piper Lawson, but I am looking forward to what happens next. Thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Their understanding and portrayal of these characters is spot on and I am loving how they re taking each role and making it their own. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and have you feeling every single one. These wonderfully talented narrators are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

That ending!

Oh man, what a cliffhanger! I have been so invested in Annie and Tyler’s story and I’m so ready for the next book.

After leaving Annie without a goodbye, the two have crossed paths again at college. The feelings they both have are still very much there. But certain things are keeping them apart until they work together on a showcase.

Gosh, I just love their chemistry. I love how they started out as friends in the Wicked series and their relationship has just grown so naturally into something more. Annie trying to find her way out of her Dad’s spotlight is so admirable. And Tyler, He’s just so perfect. I can’t wait to start the next book.

Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro are just so perfect as Tyler and Annie. I love listening to each of them separately and love listening to them together even more.

Ugh!

I can’t get enough of Annie and Tyler!
Their story made my heart sing - and then Piper ripped it all away!
Seriously!? Like, WTAF!! I was so angry 😤 I saw it coming, I really did but I had foolishly hoped I wouldn’t get my heartbroken this time.
No such luck.
Hopefully I will have my heart repaired next time.

This book...gah!!! My heart feels so full and I'm scared to see what happens in the next book. That ending... dear word!!

This is the 2nd book in the Rivals series and now Tyler and Annie are both at the same college. They fight their attraction to each other at every turn, but their love is inevitable. Except Annie is at the school without her father's knowledge and Tyler is keeping a big secret from her.

Of course, there is a big blowup on the school bit, and Annie takes off to tour briefly with her advisor. Tyler mans up to give her his heart. Loved that

But the ending... omg!! I have to know what happens next!!!

I listened to this book and the narrators did such an amazing job with the voices. I forgot occasionally that I listening to ac story!!! Fantastic job!!

OVERALL REVIEW: It has been a long time since I have been this invested in a young couple’s journey! Well done Piper Lawson!!

PERFORMANCE REVIEW: Rose Dioro and Teddy Hamilton are killing it with their narrations! They’ve made my listening experience more than just listening to a story, they’ve created a performance that brings Tyler & Annie to life in my head in vivid color and I am here for it all!! WELL DONE!

STORY REVIEW: I am so in love with how this story is unfolding that I think my heart might burst from it all. It is captivating and consuming and full of emotion at every turn! Annie and Tyler have tremendous chemistry in every aspect and when they finally come together for the sexy sexy it is equal parts explosion and tenderness! Even tho the resolution from the cliffy ending of the previous books seems a bit quick, coming together as a couple is not and I really love this choice by the author!

Annie and Tyler’s bond continues to grow and solidify as the story progresses and as much as I know something unexpected and #twitchy is coming, I honestly did not see this ending coming … at all! Well played!

I am completely sucked in to this world and I can’t wait to not just continue in this journey, but also do a binge-listen in the future! It is that captivating kids, #TRUST!

Amazing!

This story was perfect! Super cliffhanger but that was expected! I can’t wait for the release of the next audiobook! I have always loved Annie and Ty since the first books with her Dad. I’m glad to hear their story and watch them grow! Well written and the actors were amazing as always!

Ahhhh! I need more!

Thats all - I need more. I am so wrapped up in this story. Happy I bit the bullet and dove in. I am so overly enthralled with this. THAT CLIFFHANGER THO?

Annie and Tyler - who you all know from book 1, find themselves not only in the same state, same city but the same school. They finally admit to being in love - and like all great books - it all goes downhill from there. The obstacles these two have to face to make their love work in truly a story of love & dedication.

Teddy and Rose are perfect in this audio! I cannot wait for book 3!

All the angst...

This is book two in the Rivals series, It starts a few months after book one leaves off. Tyler and Annie's chemistry is still off the charts hot. We get all the angst and so many emotions, as they try to work through if love or following their dreams is more important. You are left with another cliffhanger that will leave you desperate to see what comes next for them.

The narration is amazing as always with these two! I absolutely love Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro, they never disappoint. Their voices just pull you in like you are part of the story. They are the perfect Tyler and Annie.
