Publisher's summary

After three years of conducting a vengeance trail against the Sioux and Cheyenne when his parents were killed up on the Medicine Bow, Lin Allan Cooper finally came back to the place he now calls home, North Ridge, New Mexico, only to find the ranch that he and his best friend Frank Shimmer had built from the ground up had been bought by another party who paid past-due tax debts, as well as an overdue mortgage.

Stage holdups, murder, and a personal vendetta against Coop, as he was called, were carried out.

Will the sheriff of North Ridge, county of Malone, stop the stage holdups? Or will the Army, who the governor had called in to intervene, stop the stage holdups?

Only time will tell.

Ya never know what’s in a pickle barrel till you get the lid off’n it

This here is a righteous yarn about the old west and it’s just about as fun as you would expect the title to make it seem. It’s got a lot of grit and sand. It makes you long for the old days when a quick draw it was all it took to settle score or make something right.

Brooks Corley has that flavor of the old west coming out of his throat like the warble of a nightingale. He is like Rawhide and tumbleweeds in your mind. He does a great job and I enjoyed him and this book.

Rootin' Tootin' Good Time

I unexpectedly enjoyed this. I've actually never listed to a Western before as an audiobook. The accent and voice of the narrator really helped build the world and there was enough difference between the characters that it was clear. I was also sceptical of the title but for sure give it a listen, Pickle Street babyyyyy. This actually made me want to listen to more books of this style so I'm glad it came my way.

Loved it

I thoroughly enjoyed "The Man from Pickle Street." It's a gripping audiobook set in the wild west, where Lin Allan Cooper's quest for vengeance leads to thrilling conflicts. With stage holdups, murder, and personal vendettas, it kept me on the edge of my seat. I'm eager to find out if the sheriff or the Army can stop the stage holdups. If you're a fan of action-packed western adventures, this audiobook is a must-listen
