Publisher's summary

Grey Ackles

The Soul Weaver feels useless.

A burden endangering his brothers.

The last battle with the pestilents cost Grey his sight and powers.

Now he’s dependent on his vision rehabilitation therapist Cort to learn how to function on a daily basis.

But as he grows closer to Cort, Grey is left wanting his powers back for a new reason - how will he ever know if the man he’s falling for is actually his soul mate?

Cort Newton

There is some really weird stuff going on at that house.

Spell books, guns, and a giraffe in the backyard?

But no matter how strange it gets, Cort is not going to leave the grumpy writer.

Adjusting to sudden blindness is hard for everyone, but Grey clearly has deeper reason for needing his vision back at any cost. Cort just wished Grey would confide in him.

Even with Grey’s secrets, Cort has never been drawn to a man like he is with Grey and he will do anything to keep this man safe.

Blind Warrior is the third book in the Weavers Circle series. It includes fast-paced action, running through Savannah, secrets, shapeshifting, brainwashed assassins, a gorilla, sexy times, fun with water, insecurity, three crazy old ladies, and magic!

Blind Warrior

Your books are wonderful!!!! Please tell me why do you have two narrators??? That almost ruined the whole audiobook for me. Their voices are nothing alike. You should have stuck with Graves and just him. Please I hope from now on that you would just use Graves with the other audiobooks.

This story made me like Grey

I would comment on the multiple narrators but plenty of other reviewers covered it.

From the first two books of the series, I did not like Grey. And yeah, this was certainly a way to humanize him to the readers, but it went far, far beyond that. Between the injury, his love interest / soul-mate, and the intrigue / betrayal plot line, this one keeps you on the edge of your seat but also brings out so much about the characters. It really brought home their connection as well as their heart and ongoing trauma throughout this fight. Best one yet. I might not survive the rest of the series. Haha

Loving this series

I really liked the story and Kurt Grave’s narration but not so much the other guy. His voices just didn’t work for me. I was so glad the sex scenes weren’t in his voice.

As for the story… lots of action and magic! I really enjoy these “brothers” and their mates. Cort was the perfect partner for Gray. Things in the war against the pestilence are heating up for these guys. I’m diving right into the next book (which, unfortunately, is dual narrated again)

beautiful

Curt was the perfect man for Grey! I loves how he didn't baby Grey or treat him with kid gloves

A bit of a learning curve, but still awesome

The inconsistent voices really threw me off. The second narrator's voice was fine, but it really didn't match well with Kirt Graves or the characters. They both sound so distinctly different, so it was a bit confusing for me.

That's what I thought at first, but after getting used to the switching it became a really comfortable read. I think I will look more into the work Silas Whitaker has done.

Loved the Book, Second Narrator ?

Why the second narrator? You know that old saying? If it ain't broke... don't fix it. In this case it really, really did not need to be fixed. Kirt could have handled all the characters and if not maybe find a narrator that matches the character. I know you know what I mean. I've become pretty fickle when choosing books because, one their expensive and two, no matter how good a book is it can be ruined with a bad narrator. That is when I switch to Kindle and read. Christian Fox, Aaron Sherlock, Scott R. Smith, Troy Duran, Teddy Hamilton, Zachary Webber or my all-time favorite JF Harding, any of these narrator's would have been a better fit/match of the character you have portrayed.

So disappointed with the addition of 2nd narrator

Let me start by saying that I love the book, love how the story is progressing, and LOVE Kirt's narration. It is both disappointing and baffling to me that a second narrator would be added 3 books into the series. Kirt has already established strong, distinctive voices for the characters. We have listened to 20+ hours of those voices, developed a connection with the characters based on those voices, and now we are faced with 2 VASTLY DIFFERENT narrators with VASTLY DISSIMILAR voices narrating the same characters from one chapter to the next. It is jarring, to say the least. I would be more understanding and more accepting if the stories were being told in first-person, dual POV, but they're not. There is absolutely nothing to be gained from the addition of the second narrator and, in my opinion, a great deal lost. Unfortunately, I will not be finishing this series in audio if the second narrator is here for the rest of the books. It is simply too distracting to have to go back and forth between the disparate voices of the characters.

Amazing story, buuuut

I'm really sorry, but Kirt Graves should have been the only narrator. While the second guy could probably do fine on his own, I became accustomed to Kirt's performance and the second guy was a nasal jolt. If there continues to be a dual narration I'm going to switch to kindle ebooks because this universe is a kick and a half, the characters are awesome, and overall I really love the entire storyline. I hate to be harsh and I've read stories where the other guy's voice would be spot on. But this one was a miss.

Narrators can make or break a story

I’ve been really enjoying this series, but the person who voiced Cort made Gray sound ridiculous.
I persevered because I was invested in the story, but he drove me nuts. Had it not been part of a series, I would have called it quits after the first few chapters.
The other narrator, who has been voicing this series from the beginning is great. His interpretation of Gray was entirely different and much better.

UGH

I don't like that switching from one narrator to the other. It gets very confusing because they use way different voices for the characters. You're not sure who is talking and what is going on. I love the story and the premise but I wont be listening to the 4th one if they have 2 narrators.
