My favorite of the series

Salvation is the 3rd book in the Made series, which features male leads embroiled in mafia drama that are looking for a way out. Merrick is a hacker and hitman, and he's so instantly connected to FBI agent Alley, and he's willing to protect her at all costs.

Salvation is fast-paced and full of suspense, and the chemistry between Merrick and Alley is through the roof. This was my favorite of the 3 books in the Made series.

Loved that Merrick was so intrigued by Alley, who is a by-the-book FBI agent. Their banter was incredible, and the way that they played off of each other made for a great listen in audio form. Their work to finally solve what happened to Alley's father was so dramatic and engaging.

The audio, narrated by Connor Crais and Chloe Ryan, was really great. They captured the emotion of the story and the grittiness of the tale wonderfully.

Fabulous narration!

This is the 3rd book in the series and it was just as fabulous as the first 2. What I love about this series is that they can be read as a standalone but tie in perfectly if you reading them back to back. Connor and Chloe did a fab job bring Ally and Merrick to life with their narration. I felt so much in their performance and couldn’t put this one down!

Suspenseful Romance

Salvation by Melissa Ellen is a suspenseful romance with lots of mystery and intrigue.

I found Ally and Merrick's story to be like a mafia romance crossed with an episode on Criminal Minds, I strongly suggest you listen to Burden (Book #2) in this series before Salvation as there is quite a bit of the storyline that continues through these two books.

The storyline in this book was my favorite in the series but I would have liked more build-up to the characters relationship.

Connor was brilliant as the dangerous hero Merrick and I thought Chloe Ryan was a great choice to narrate strong and confident Ally.

The 3rd book in this series didn't disappoint.

I loved to learn more about Alley. The Special Agent was a part the two books before and there was always the wish to get to know her better.

If you already read/listened to book 1&2, you definitely wanna read that too.

Action Packed

Wow! This story was emotional and action packed from the beginning.

Alley is an FBI agent who is also looking into the cold case of her father’s murder. When out one night, she meets Merrick who she has an instant connection with. But what she doesn’t know, that there is a price on her head because she’s getting too close to finding out the truth about her father’s death. Merrick also has a secret that he doesn’t share with her right away. The two end up working together to stop whoever is coming after Alley.

I loved how fearless and strong Alley is. She knew what risks she was taking looking into a cold case and was going to stop at nothing to find her father’s killer. Merrick’s role in the book was great. His past was interesting and led him to the man he was meant to be. Alley took his secrets in stride and didn’t hold anything against him. I loved their chemistry.

Connor Crais and Chloe Ryan did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. They have definitely become a favorite narrator duo of mine.

Great Wrap-up

I enjoyed Ally's story. After meeting her in the first book, I was glad to see she got her own story. Salvation is a romantic suspense story, and my favorite of the three as it has more suspense as Ally begins digging into her father's death. There was great chemistry between the two characters, still some great world-building, but I would have liked more character building of Ally and Merrick, esp. as their relationship grows pretty quickly. I also enjoyed tying up loose ends from the first two books. It was great to see all the dots connected.

The narration performed by Connor and Chloe was excellent.

Good

This will keep you going and guessing certain aspects.
Narrators are good also. Though she makes her males sound like drag queens!

Loved it

Salvation is the third book in Melissa Ellen's Made Series. I have really enjoyed the previous two books in the series and this one really stood out for me. The writing is gripping, thrilling and suspenseful. I was invested from beginning to end. The premises of a love story between an agent and assassin intrigued me and when you get into the story and learn the characters back stories, what makes them these fierce, passionate, strong and loyal individuals and I couldn’t help but route for them. From the moment Ally meets Merrick, there is some intense sparks between them. Ally is insistent that she is not going to let anyone or anything derail her from her focus of re-opening her fathers cold case murder. However, she cannot ignore her attraction and feelings for the mysterious Merrick. He is a hired assassin, he has a dangerous background, and knows his way around a sniper. Ally isn’t quick to trust Merrick right away but she quickly changes her mind after several attempts on her life and he is always there right beside her as she fights off her attackers. My heart was pounding in anticipation from one scene to the next. The passion and romance up the ante even more and I couldn’t get enough!

Connor Crais and Chloe Ryan do a fantastic job narrating this story. They both have strong, powerful voices that bring life to these characters so effortlessly. Connor has the protective alpha growl down perfectly, and Chloe’s emotional performance was just perfect! I definitely recommend this one!

Omg!! That ending!!

First, I gotta say that this book was absolutely amazing!! I received an audible version of this book and it was my first book from Melissa Ellen. I was enraptured through this whole book. The narrators did a fantastic job keeping my interest peeked.
I hadn't read the first 2 books in this series, but you do not need to read them in order to understand this book. Special Agent Alley Rhodes hasn't been able to let go of the unsolved murder of her father. Until her digging ends up putting a price on her head. Thankfully Merrick is there to keep her safe. I nearly about cried towards the end of the book...I was like "NOOOOOOOOOO" ... LOL but all was well.

Loved these characters!! Fantastic book and audio!!
