Publisher's summary

Bay Winchester has battled ghosts, shades, poltergeists...and sometimes, her own family. It’s the latter giving her fits now. Well, and Hemlock Cove’s younger set, of course.

Bay thought the worst was behind her when she modified the memories of four tempestuous teenagers bent on stealing magic and wielding it in a tyrannical manner. Unfortunately for her, when one of those teenagers ends up dead behind the inn her father owns, things start to spiral.

The girl’s death is ritual in fashion, bloody runes painted on the trees, and Bay can’t wrap her head around exactly what has happened. Then things get worse when dark figures start appearing in windows, black ghosts threatening Bay and her family at every turn.

Between the horror haunting Hemlock Cove and the annoying presence of Bay’s former boss and his current fiancée, who just so happens to be a distant relative, Bay has her hands full...and that’s before her cousin Clove’s baby starts displaying a rather interesting skill set that is going to force accommodations within the family.

All Bay wants is a little break to plan her wedding and look forward to happily ever after with her fiancé Landon Michaels. What’s she’s going to get is a whole lot of trouble.

Bay’s growing powers are drawing in a new element of evil. It’s going to take everything she has - and a little help from Aunt Tillie - to fight the ultimate battle. Survival isn’t a given, but Bay is determined to make it to her big day.

No matter what.

One of my favorite series

This story wraps up a few story lines but brings more intrigue to others. A must for fans of Bay, Tillie and all the winchesters.

One of my favorites of the series

This book is now one of my favourites of the series. The witty banner was top notch. I enjoyed the mystery in looking for to the next book in the series. I enjoyed the mystery and am looking for to the next book in the series. I can't wait for the wedding and the honeymoon, not to mention the birth of Clove's baby. The marriage proposal was really cool. Enjoyed that book immensely as well. Lots of moves are made in this book. Got some answers left over from previous book arc. Highly recommend.

I knew it!

Well done!
I was happy to see so many loose ends tied up. Some I knew, some I suspected, and a couple were quite unexpected (due to the introduction of new elements.).
I am hoping a joint work is on the way. I would love to see the Wicked Witches from Hemlock Cove and the Spell's Angels from Hawthorne Hollow join together to put some mean and nasty in its place.
OH and please Hurry with book 19 please. There is still one GAPING hole in the plot which needs to be filled. JUST DON'T MAKE IT THE END OF THE SERIES. With the next generation on the horizon, we could have soooo much fun!

One of the best series

I love Bay and her family. Aunt Tillie is so awesome. This story was a bit spooky and I look forward to the next one.

Lee has redeemed herself.

Amanda M Lee has redeemed herself from the debacle of book 17. This book was fun, fast moving with Bay showing growth, strength and intelligence. Yay!!!

OMG

The stories just get better and better. The little crumbs left behind about what’s to come are amazing.

Narrator annoys me

I really don't like the narration for these books. I prefer the Stormy and Charlie narration. This narrator makes Bay sound so whiny. The book itself was pretty good, I enjoyed the tie-in with the Tillie's past. I will continue to read and/or listen because at this point I am invested in the overall outcome.
