This book is a great read for everyone. It shows that no matter where you come from, you can succeed.

I really enjoyed listening to this book via audible. Thomas really opens up about some of the personal and professional obstacles he has faced, which I found encouraging. He also gave really great insight around how to deal with struggling loved ones with love & grace as opposed to anger & judgment.

Hearing the deeper insight through the one on one interviews was great too.

Powerful story and great purpose.

I really enjoyed this book. It was well-written in a format that was easy to follow when listening. I also really enjoyed the Q&A sessions between the author and the narrator at the end of each chapter- it gave more life to the audiobook. I listen to a lot of professional development books and this has been the most engaging and most inspirational in how honest and vulnerable the writer has made himself in tying life lessons to his story. Anyone can benefit from what he has to share from established adults to young adults trying to figure out their life. I’m buying myself a copy of the book so I can refer back to it and share with others.

with parables of his past Thomas offers the reader inspiration and guidelines to achieve success. the short interviews with Assante the narrator at the end of each chapter are pure gold.
