Loved this book...

Great story line. It probably could have used dual narration. Loved that they made the heroine be strong. The fact that she chose to submit was great.

Loved the Twist

The story was hot and I loved the twist. Just enough amount of “other “ drama for the couple to endure. Hope there are more stories.

I love Sara Fields's stories and her imagination was really in overdrive in this book. Her descriptions create vivid pictures in my mind. This book is dark, erotic, and contains a few twists that I didn't expect. Silas is dominant, sexy, protective, and caring. Kendra is strong, caring, feisty, and fierce. When Silas captures her, she finds herself attracted to him and you will learn why later. I really want to tell you more, but I'm afraid I would give you spoilers. Heather Firth does an outstanding job of creating distinctive voices for these characters and portraying their emotions and personalities. She captured my attention from the beginning and held it to the end. She is a talented storyteller and a delight to listen to. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Amazing

This is book is absolutely delicious. The narration as well as the story line was absolutely perfect. I would love to hear more around the same storyline.

Aggressive mating scene

Will call me sick but i like this type of aggressive behavior during sex. Wont recommend it to those who feel offensive with this type of dom

heat heat and action

Imo, three fourths of the book is what I consider erotica with bdsm elements. If that's your jam grab this one fast. The action and danger scenes had me on edge. I would have liked to see Silas catch up with the backstabber. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Dark, Hot and Kinda Sweet

This was a first for me. I have never listened to a sci-fi romance and I had no idea what I was missing. I loved Kendra. She was smart, sassy and strong with a ball breaking attitude. Silas captured my heart. His strong, willful, domineering manner perfectly complemented Kendra. Sara Fields created another universe and made me understand it. The writing was seamless with no unanswered questions, Heather Firth’s narration really brought this story to life. Every character voiced was perfect. I could picture this world, it’s inhabitants and it customs. I could feel it. A word to the wise, this story is dark, scorching hot and oh so perfect!

The narrator is great, wonderful voice. Sadly the characters left me somewhat flat, there's lots of raunchy sex but even that got monotonous. I love Sara's books but this one was a bit disappointing.

Excellent to finally see a strong woman accepted as she is. I hope to read more like this.

No real storyline.

A lot of abusive sex. No substance it had potential but…….to many questions with no answers. For instance the hero is an alien but until he calls her a little human you had no idea.
