Introducing...The Lab Detective
Kathleen Folbigg experienced unimaginable loss. All four of her infant children died suddenly, over a 10-year period. Their deaths were unexplained. Until a police detective turned up at her door, and arrested Kathleen on suspicion of murder.
She was labelled ‘Australia's worst female serial killer’, convicted, and was destined to spend most of the rest of her life in jail.
Until a different type of detective entered her life. A scientist working in a lab who uncovered the truth behind the deaths.
This is the story of a shocking miscarriage of justice, but as journalist Rachel Sylvester starts to investigate how this happened, she learns that Kathleen is not alone – other mothers have endured the same fate, and may also be in prison.
The Lab Detective is a story about the power of science, and the determination of those searching for the truth.
Episodes 1 and 2 will be available to listen on 22nd July.

I sincerely hope the UK Police Authorities take some legal action to hopefully give Kirat a senae of justice but I fear the Authorities will once again be a let down. The laws that Govern our socities are behind the times of these sorts of crimes and unfortunately often take way to long to catch up. Same as when computer or internet based offenses started trending but little could be done in terms of criminal charges. Today there are a plethora of laws covering computer crimes but it took precious time to make headway in the beginning. Hopefully Catfish types of Laws won't take so long but I'm not holding my breath.
My heart goes out to Kirat and I hope she once again finds in life the very happiness and peace her voice depicts and radiates on her radio show. As for the "Fake Bobby" my only desire for her and others like her in the world is to rot. Whether they rot one day in jail, in hell or in their personal lives, either or all is justified.Catfishing is a heinous crime that robs a victim of their emotional security and takes away pieces of themselves day by day. The journalist who worked on this podcast, Alexi Mostrous, and others have done amazing work here and I wish them all success in future endeavors.
Again, well done!

It was interesting to hear this from a perspective of a trusting loving person.
I do believe kirat should be a spokesperson for putting laws against cat fishing - it should be illegal to have a calve identity online
Especially since this seems to happen more than we think it does 👍
It was a very interesting story ! Thank you for sharing it with us
