Mellow compared to her other books.
Still a great story. Kept my interest the whole way. No action and adventure like her others so definitely more mellow. Great character development and storyline like all the others. I will continue to listen to All of her books.

It was OK
I’ve listened to well over half of Ms. Cole’s books available here on Audible and this wasn’t one of my favorites. I saw the “big twist” from a mile away so it ended up pretty anticlimactic for me. It also felt a little too vague once the confrontation happened. Sort of like “we did this, then we did this, then this, the end.”
BUT. With all that said, I’m still a big fan of this author. Some books just don’t stand out for some people and this is one of those for me. If you’ve liked her other books, you won’t be disappointed. Narrators did a top notch job as per usual.
