Publisher's summary

Edited by Leslie Mitchell at G2 Freelance Editing and re-released 9/3/13.

Fueled by rage and a thirst for revenge, Cassie no longer recognizes the person she has become. Determined to destroy Julian, no matter what the cost, Cassie pushes away the ones that love her most. Though she tries to deny it and fights against it, Devon's love may be the only thing that can bring her back from the brink of madness she is teetering on. Just when she's starting to come to terms with her grief, a startling revelation threatens to unravel everything she has always known.

Her bond with Devon is severely tested as a new enemy rises to tear them apart. An enemy Cassie never could have foreseen, but one that may be even deadlier, and far more ruthless than any vampire she has ever faced. Torn from her friends and Devon, Cassie is stunned to find herself having to rely on the man she hates the most, Julian. Together, Cassie and Julian struggle to survive an adversary that is determined to destroy them both.

Worth the wait

I love this series so much and this is probably my favorite book of the series . In this book we see a darker side of Devon and a lighter side to Julian . The relationship that Cassie forms with Julian is beautiful . I had to immediately read book 4 again after I listened to this . Can't wait for the rest to come to audio . Karen gave a wonderful narration .

Wow! Suspenseful!

This is the third book of five in the Kindred Series, a YA Vampire Romance. The story continues where the second book left off. This is definitely my favorite book in the Series. The storyline is suspenseful, intriguing, and filled with unpredictable twists and turns. I loved to follow Devon, Cassie, her friends, and some other characters, in this journey! The story ends with a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to listen to the next book in the Series, Inferno. Karen Bachman did a great job with the narration. I like her voice!

A great addition to the series

Kindled, the third book in The Kindred Series is a fantastic paranormal listen. Despite being geared toward young adults, the series can be enjoyed by all ages. The storyline is entertaining, thrilling, and wholly engaging, loaded with drama, suspense, vampires, magic, romance, twists, and turns. Erica Stevens is a creative author, capturing readers/listeners' attention with her phenomenal world-building and captivating characters.

An outstanding performance by Karen Bachman. By emulating the characters' personalities, emotions, and intensity of the scenes, she brought the story to life. Kindled is a highly enjoyable audiobook with a quality plot, characters, and narration, which I will strongly recommend. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

Betrayal and friendship

This book is about betrayal from one of their own that has the commission coming after them. Cassie finds herself held captive by the commission and an unlikely person becomes a friend and maybe her only way out. But with twists and turns galore and feelings on high this book so far has been the most enjoyable. I’m now looking forward to the next book in this series.

Better than book 2

I still didn't like this narrator as much as book 1. The main character continued to make some silly decisions which made her seem pretty immature, but it gets better. I really like the friendship that develops unexpectedly in this book and look forward to seeing more of how that goes.
