Publisher's summary

A werewolf walks into a bar.

Tank is working as a bouncer when he notices something odd about the sexy-as-sin bartender. He’s odorless, he’s amazingly popular with shifters, and he’s terrified.

A man without a smell.

Isaac is trying to escape his past. He hides in San Francisco, because everyone knows that there are no werewolves in the Bay Area.

Until one walks into his bar.

Can a gentle werewolf with a trampled heart show a man who’s been running scared that sometimes there are monsters worth running towards?

New York Times best-selling author Gail Carriger (writing as G. L. Carriger) brings you the next in her charming gay werewolves series. The San Andreas Shifter books stand alone and do not need to be listened in any order. But if you're a stickler, this book comes after Bryan and Max's story, The Sumage Solution.

Delicate Sensibilities?

This audiobook contains m/m sexy times and horrible puns. If you get offended easily, then you probably will. San Andreas Shifter stories include blue language, dirty deeds, and outright admiration for the San Francisco Bay Area. Not for the faint of heart, or mouth, or tongue.

Gay shifter romance with an edge

I'm not usually crazy about romances, but this story was funny, sweet and hot!

Excellent

I so enjoy these books. The romance in the plot rivets to my attention so that I stay in my car and keep listening when I am done driving, because I can’t stand to interrupt any part of the story. I look forward to each and every book that Gail has written.

Excellent series - Sexual healing in shifters

There are several excellent, non-exploitative series of books where the gender identity and sexual healing thru acceptance is the basis of the plotline. This series is perhaps somewhat easier to approach, as the MC's are werecreatures of one type or another, mostly wolves. In each of these books, the MC is confronted by gender role models and stereotypes, and has to work thru those issues to gain self-acceptance and the confidence to live and love in the manner that is true to themselves, regardless of family or social pressures and judgments. Given that premise, what makes this series so pleasant is the pack of wolves, and their very unusual and delightful personalities, and their bonding together, accepting of each of their own diverse ways of mating and loving, and yet all bonded together in a chosen family pack. And, then there's a happy ending. These books are confidence builders, heart healers, and filled with love and humor.

A uplifting modern romance

This book made me happy. This series is so wholesome and nice . These books are the opposite of grimdark and I need that.

Inconsistencies In the Accents

For some reason in this book Marvin, raised in Boston and California, suddenly has a British accent.

This series makes me happy

I'm currently listening this book for the third time. I've listened to the previous book in the series probably 10+ times. I'm a heterosexual female, but I love these books. Gail is great at writing quirky humor that makes me relax and feel joyful while also developing characters that I truly care about. Kirt is excellent at bringing these characters and their quirks to life through his voice. I cannot recommend this series enough for anyone who enjoys paranormal romance.

Great Story but wish I had more from Jud

I loved listening to Colin gain his confidence. I am glad they had a story with a parent like this because it's a common experience to have a parent who doesn't see your value or who has favorites. The sex was hot but I'm tired of all these self-absorbed characters that keep hurting their partners. Probably because it's so real and relatable.

A hidden treasure

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! So often Gail writes about the value of overlooked traits. calm, prrsence, caring for others and that briken does not mean hopeless. They really come to the fore in this series and I adore that. Tank is such a treasure and Issac is a delight. love it!
