Love this series

This is book two and the epic conclusion to No Longer Broken Duet series. This series gave me all the feels, It broke my heart, I laughed, swooned, cried, and I wouldn't change anything because in the end it was soo great!
Lilly Wilde made me love Branch and Ragan with all my heart and I can't wait to read more books from her!

Salvaged Hearts

Enjoyed listening to this book. Definitely some emotional highs and lows. Some emotional and physical abuse. Liked how the whole story fell together in the end.

What a great book and series

I have been waiting for this book for a while and what a book. I loved it and the narrators did a great job as well. Lilly did a great job writing this one. Love her books!

Emotionally beautiful

After listening to Shattered Beginnings, I couldn't wait until this released. I needed to finish my journey with Ragan and Branch. Lilly Wilde gives us emotionally charged hours of enjoyment with this series.There is so much to find closure in during this second book, and every question was answered. Ragan's life has been nothing but tragedy after tragedy, and finally she finds the one person who can help turn her life around. It takes a lot not only to find that one person, but to believe in yourself. After what she endures in this installment, it's satisfying to see her reach some goals and find the life that she is meant for. Branch has some life changing moments, needing to figure out how to settle his past and work towards his future. Wilde has masterfully woven these two together. The feelings are genuine, and will reach into your heart. With the subject of abuse being forefront in so many capacities, her compassionate writing makes us much more aware of what happens to others. I loved Branch and Ragan's story.

The narration is key to this duet. The team of Aaron Shedlock and Melissa Moran is flawless. Shedlock brings in his amazing voices for the many characters, but what stands out for me is his ability to make Branch both frustrating and compassionate. With just a change in tone, the cockiness is there and can turn to loving and warm in the next. He captured the essence of the character perfectly. Moran is amazing as Ragan. This complex woman has to endure so much, and Moran gives her strength, wit and perseverance in her delivery. It is an amazing compilation.

Downright Perfection!!!

From the very first moment you start Shattered Beginnings till the very end of Salvaged Hearts you’re taken on a journey so moving and powerful that you are unsure that your heart can take any more.

As cocky and arrogant as Branch McGuire is you still can’t help but fall for him!! His passion for football, his love of his family and his need to protect those he cares about melts your heart to pieces. What broke my heart the most was Ragan and her tragic past. Her life was haunted by her childhood, the hurt, the travesty of things done to her and the love she deserved but didn’t receive.

Lilly takes us on this emotional journey with Branch and Ragan, where we continually hoped for a happily ever after because in our hearts there can be no other outcome. I was not prepared for the ending of this story but can tell you that I have never read a more perfect ending of two lives, once broken, made whole again.

The narration by Melissa Moran and Aaron Sherlock absolutely floored me!! They bought so much depth and warmth to the story it was breathtaking. Aaron really gave Branch that sexy arrogance that I loved so much. Together the passion was felt in the words spoken and the struggles made painfully real. I couldn’t have imagined any narrators better than this!!!! Outstanding.

Absolutely amazing!!

This story was amazing. I had alot of laughs and there were some tears. The love scene between Branch and Reagan was OMG on fire. When two people have so much from their past and just need a friend to talk to who will understand. Then never expect that friend to become more to you. The narrator's did an excellent job.

Love me some Branch and Ragan!

This is book 2 of the No Longer Broken duet and the continuation of Branch and Ragan's stories. I had already read the book but was anxiously awaiting the audiobook version. Being able to listen to it gives a completely different feel. It was amazing! Each chapter was like a surprise of excitement, not always the positive kind. It still blows my mind that Ragan is so strong and tries to stay positive. I just couldn't imagine all the things being thrown at her and still being able to see the good. I loved seeing the changes happen in Branch; as a person, as a caregiver, as a football player, even as the 'player' façade he is trying to keep. There were many times when I just loved him to death, but there were also times that I wanted to punch him and ask him 'what the hell are you thinking'!?! There were many tears shed as well. But there were also lots of laughs, smiling, and warm-fuzzy feelings. Let me just say....THAT ENDING WAS AMAZING, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Melissa Moran and Aaron Shedlock did wonderful things with the narration. They were both able to capture emotion perfectly! I love the way I was able to distinguish the difference in characters throughout. They were perfect!!!

Lilly Wilde has given us another EPIC story with this Duet. Every one of her books feels real, I feel like I can relate to them and the characters. I love that! I cannot wait to see what amazing story she will blow us away with next!

Absolutely Amazing!!

This was my first ever audible book. It was amazing to listen to the characters come to life. I love Branch & Reagan's story. I would love to hear more of what their future holds. Definitely a must to listen to this story come to life.

Salvaged Hearts is the second book in Lily Wilde’s No Longer Broken Duet. Branch McGuire, “Man on Fire”, NFL quarterback comes back home to Georgia to take care of his mother’s medical issues. While there he reconnects with Regan Prescott, a waitress he tangled with in his last visit home. Branch and Regan actually went to school together, but he was part of the popular crowd. Regan was not. In fact Regan was horribly abused by her step mother. Branch though popular, lives with a schizophrenic mother and an absent father. Beach goes on to NFL greatness, and Regan is a single mother separated from an abusive husband. They have one night together that doesn’t turn out well. Branch and Regan have have issues that are difficult to overcome. Will ether of these broken people be able to overcome all the forces pulling at them . This is a great series! Do not miss it!
