Publisher's summary

Anger Management offers "straight to the point" understanding which can be quickly put into practice, helping you to reconnect with your best self!

We can find empathy for people suffering with anxiety or depression, but often, it’s only the victims of anger who receive any sympathy. The perpetrators are written-off as a bad lot. This audiobook will explain how chronic anger is just as much a stress-related “condition” as these other difficulties and why anger sufferers deserve compassion as much as anybody else.

I’ve been helping people professionally resolve their stress-related difficulties since 2003, and I’ve enjoyed working with “angry” people the most. Why? Because they are the least helped among us. I know you didn’t ask to be angry. But it can be overcome.

Using fictional case studies from real-world examples, this audiobook will explore clearly why you may feel so much anger in your being and explain why your subconscious programming is making it impossible for you to “will” yourself calm. With that understood, you’ll find practical, workable approaches here to understand and desensitize your triggers, live more peacefully, enjoy better relationship security, be more patient with the world, and get more of what you need without the stress or regret of anger and rage.

You will learn:

  • Why the brain creates angry responses when we feel threatened and what you can do to soothe it
  • How to recognize where your personal anger stems from and how to heal it
  • Why anger can feel good but become an addiction
  • The brain chemistry, so you can understand what you're up against
  • Why "controlling" behavior will drive those you love away and how to invite them closer instead
  • How to “use” anger appropriately to have people help you instead of resent you
  • Why softness controls hardness and how to implement that understanding in your life.
  • The incredible power of words, asking for what you need, and why "sorry" is the most powerful word in the English language
  • And much, much more

WOW, I LOVED THIS! YOU SHOULD BUY IT!

I loved this audio book! I love, love, loved this audio book! It's absolutely brilliant. And it's the most wonderful audio book that I have ever read! I will forever be a huge John Crawford fan of his fabulous and illuminating books for improving various parts my life, forever! I never understood why some people actually seem to thrive when they're ranting and raving, and enjoy arguments until I read this fantastic eye-opening book. Who knew that anger was as addictive as morphine, and relieves pain? I can finally understand why having Bi-Polar Disorder, PTSD, severe stress and anxiety disorders draws on the energy of a hostile environment, or temper tantrum. Plus, there are some fantastic ideas for getting over past events that may still be disrupting one's life, with or without their knowledge. And it explains how to be happier every day, even if every little thing can't be resolved, and how it doesn't have to be one's own personal burden, despite the extenuating circumstances. Thanks, John Crawford, for a much needed lesson in dealing with anger, and giving me a new change of view! Everyone should listen to the audio book, and then buy and read the companion book, to keep close by for quick reference, when necessary, then we could all be much happier people worldwide! Buy it for yourself, and everyone that you care about, because the audio book and regular book which can be bought in printed or downloaded onto your reading device, can teach you how to lessen your anger, your friends' anger and your relatives' anger. The narrator/author is so good, that right from the beginning, you'll start to feel more relaxed, happier, and more positive about your personal and professional lives. The relaxation recording with this amazing trained physiotherapist, who has a wall and an home full of various professional certifications, and awards for his many years as an innovative, practicing professional, working with individuals to help them resolve most of their issues and be better people, truly cares about helping people throughout every part of their lives! You can hear his caring and concerns for your personal well-being n the audio book! It could make the WHOLE WORLD A LOVELY, KIND PLACE TO LIVE! SO BUY A COPY FOR YOU, YOUR FRIENDS,, FAMILY, AND CO-WORKERS, BECAUSE EVERYONE NEEDS AND WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS INCREDIBLE AUDIO BOOK!

Great for a general overview of anger management

I like the length of the book being less than 6 hours, the examples given the book are very relatable. he does give some examples of how to replace angry behavior with the correct reaction that you would want to say instead. there's also a recording at the end with a 30 minute relaxation meditation session which I found very relaxing and the best part for me.

I was trying to find tools and techniques to help locate the layers beneath my anger and the source of the pain in order to experience, heal, and release that pain, this book will not go into that although the author has experience helping clients doing that in his practice.

overall I think you should download the book and listen to it if you are experiencing anger present in your life, especially if you are just beginning to heal your anger.
