Just ok

The narration wasn't my favorite. And since the chapters are divided between 2 characters it would have been nice to have a male narrate the Male chapters. The story also went from sweet to romance kinda awkwardly. Lastly the seductive lines seemed to be blunt and out of place.

On the edge of my seat the entire time!

Really sweet and enjoyable book to listen to, and for a sequel, this is great. It was original, and kept me hooked from start to finish. Really recommend. Love the character Mick as well. Who says men didn't like romance novels?

Light drama with a heavy heart!

A Splash of Vanilla is the final book in Bethany Lopez's series The Three Sisters Catering novel. I haven't read and/or listened to the other books. That being said, it did not ruin the two previous books in the series... I mean, I'd like to listen to the other two but it doesn't ruin the stories themselves. However, I'm sure it would be way more enjoyable for everyone if you read or listened to the first and went through in order. That's how Miss Lopez wrote them so it I get a chance, I plan on going back and listening to the entire series.

I really love a good slow burn and Mick and Dru go deliciously slow. Mick has a rule about romancing the clients so this works, for a while. I adored the feel of friendship these two developed. It was sweet and felt like it would last. A Splash of Vanila also has this deep feeling of family and heart. Even when things start to crumble, they pull it together and are there for each other. Light drama with a heavy heart!

Tha narrator Jessica JN Wells performed a great story. She was fun and upbeat when it was needed and she was able to be serious and carry the heartwarming story.

Enjoyed it

Now that both of her sisters has found their HEA, Millie wants that more than anything. Between running their catering company and also wanting to find out more about her father, where will she get the time. How about the hot private investigator Mick who also happen to be looking into her fathers disappearance...
But Mick has a no dating the client policy, so maybe its up to her to prove to him that they can be good together.

I loved this series, I read the first book in a day and kind of skipped the next one(but will be going back for it) and I really enjoyed Millie and Mick's story. Lots of drama and love to keep you entertained. And I have to say the narrators voice on this one was spot on. Definitely a good audio

The story caught me by surprise. I was hooked from beginning to end. It definitely helped with Jessica's great narration skills and acting to imagine the story come to life. Get this book, it's worth it!
