Publisher's summary

Noah and the team are called up for a new mission, but it almost seems like history repeating itself. This time, Jenny is forced to take on the role of a known female assassin in order to expose the terrorist organization behind her. The plan takes them to a few different locales, and puts all of them in danger.

The first contract she is given is for a high-ranking British official, but that turns out to have been only a test. The real contract comes afterward, and the entire team is shocked when they learn who the target is. Terrorism strikes close to home when Jenny is contracted to kill none other than Allison Peterson herself.

Unfortunately, the organization behind the contract has leverage that may make it necessary for Jenny and Team Camelot to actually carry out the assassination.

Another example of a really good book

Definitely was not a disappointed in this book as with all the other in the series this is a great book found a very exciting towards the end and couldn't wait to finally see what was going to happen

Even a killer can have a heart...

This is another very good book by David Archer. If you haven't read this series I would suggest listening to book one first for background. The books do take the listener on a journey through relationships but they do not need to be listened to in order to appreciate them. The exception is books 5 & 6, those two books are really one longer story that need to be listened to together.
In this book Noah Wolf takes a back seat while Jenny takes a much more active role. She is acting as an assassin for the other side when her cover is blown. Her lover (Neil) is kidnapped and will surely die without her compliance to their demands. Of course she acquiesces, not seeing a bigger picture through the maze of demands and promises and not realizing they are both damned should she complete the mission.
This book has a little more romance which I guess would be considered ironic considering this is a group of assassins. Interesting opinion it doesn't really fit.
I really like this series but wish Archer would devote as much time to his I Am Sal series. I loved the two books in that series and hope he is not done with it.
Adam Verner does an excellent job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Deserves a 5 star rating, but...

...the publisher's summary literally gives the entire plot away. Since the author is the publisher, I blame him. The only thing he did not give away is that Team Camelot technical specialist Neil and Jenny (psycho ex-Team Cleopatra leader and now Team Camelot member) are getting married. This is the second novel in a row where E&E leader Allison Peterson's life was in jeopardy.

Author David Archer has now released a total of 15 novels in the Sam Prichard and Noah Wolf series during the last 30 months. I do not believe this rate is sustainable without losing quality.

Meh

Have you ever noticed how they're always eating in these books? The author describes every detail of every meal and I was craving open faced roast beef with mashed potatoes and brown gravy through the book.

Childish and sophomoric.

I cant do it anymore. Most of the plotlines of this seeues I enjoy but the dialogue has become so whiny and sophomoric I cant take it. They literally go from one meal to the next. Sorry to give it away. Even when in danger all they think about is what's for dinner. I cant go on anymore with this.
