Publisher's summary

I never wanted a mate. Until I was put in chains. Strapped down. And claimed.

I always believed I could analyze any situation until I found a solution. Solve any problem if I just applied my brain. I went to university, studied science, and told myself my academic cocoon would protect me from the alphas dominating our society.

I was wrong.

No textbook prepared me for my meeting with test subject 351. The biggest, scariest alpha on death row hauled into my lab to uncover how to control the beast of a man. How to make him submit. Mold him into a weapon. But there is no controlling the feral alpha, and no logic strong enough to save my mind once he unleashes his fury on my body.

Once he claims me.

Obsession is the first book in Nora Ash’s second suspense-filled Omegaverse serial, Feral.

Please note: This series gets dark, and it gets dirty. If you don’t enjoy your romance scorching and your alphas rough and dominant, give this book a pass.

It's an unfinished book but good start

It's being released as a series when really it is 1 story broken up into separate books so people have to spend for each piece rather than the whole. I also bought the audiobook and it was only a little more than 2 hours. It can not stand on its own like a series book should be. A beginning, a middle, and an end - that is a story, that is a book. This is a beginning, that's it. Though I like the story so far, I dislike and am disappointed with the format. Feels like I'm being played. If it isn't a full story, then it should be a box set, or better yet, combine the three incompetent stories into the full story it should be. I would not have wasted money on the audiobook if I'd have known.

Too short but good

The 3 books could be combined into 1. It’s a very short story but very good ;) for the 3 hours the story is.

Feral Obsession - Bk 1`

Nora Ash writes the Feral series in a trilogy, and is approx 8 hours via audio for all 3 stories back to back..much like 3 novella's. Each being over 2 hours but book 1 and 2 both have cliffhangers so it's extremely easy to plough through all 3 of them and not notice the time fly by.

Professional practical scientist/analyst Lillian Dorne is trying to make her mark in the world and snags a unique opportunity to work at a research outpost. Her goals in life are on her career and not a domestic life style. After her first week she learns what the research facility is really doing and the cruelty inflicted on the test subjects. That's when Lilian falls for test subject 351 and attempts to break them out, and fails miserably.

This is a paranormal / science story, it can be steamy, it can be dark and gritty, and for this reason it's not an action / life drama relatable series but a fun read.

Thurlow Holmes does a terrific job narrating the mad scientists and feral werewolves

Worst dark romance I've read

I do love dark romances and sci-fi based ones, but this... Nothing makes sense, and the ending is reeeeeally terrible.
