If the Russian Revolution was a Shakespearean tragedy, Trotsky would undoubtedly be cast into the role of an Othello or King Lear type figure who means well but seems to hamstring himself with his never-ending ideological speculation and theorizing.

Rosalind Franklin was what can only be called an overlooked genius. Although she was not fully credited for the feat at the time, her work led to major breakthroughs in our understanding of DNA. In fact, she took the first X-ray photo of DNA in all of its double helix glory. By the time her former colleagues were being showered with accolades for results they made at least partially based on her findings, Franklin would not be around to see it. Sadly, it’s believed that her use of X-ray equipment gave her terminal cancer, cutting her life short at age 37.

Great short book
this is a great book about Van Gogh if you are interested in him but don't want to commit to a lengthy read. Good for the commute. Lots of information about the man.

Great use of an hour.
I have tickets to the then go immersed art exhibit. I wanted to have a bit of a background before I go this is very well done and a good listen for a commute.
