What's a millionaire bachelor to do? Join the army - with his butler!

Captain Willard Phule is the only officer in the Space Legion with his own butler, but Beeker has stuck with him through thick and thin. Which is why Phule simply can't comprehend why his butler would run off-planet without a word - and take with him Omega Company's lovely new medic.

Without his right-hand man, Phule has no idea what his left hand is doing. So he takes off after his errant butler, just as General Blitzkrieg decides to make a surprise visit to Zenobia. And the only thing Blitz would like better than catching Phule off guard is to catch Phule AWOL....

Excellent reading of a hilarious book

Reading was good enough to make me overlook the somewhat annoying misprounounation of the word adjuntant

Great book, plenty of fun!

This is a fun book. Anyone complaining about it probably got bored because they weren't invested enough in the support characters. I'd definitely buy it again.

Another fun romp!

Another fun adventure for the Omega mob! once again Robert Aspirin and Peter Heck have hit a home run. This time the action takes place on multiple planets around the galaxy, with all sorts of characters; from rough and tumble wild West recreaters to Old Earth itself the adventure spans the Galaxy!

Star trekkin’ across the universe

I spent an awful lot of this book feeling annoyed that several characters were acting completely out of character. It was all explained by the end and the confusion was probably intentional, but first my poor husband had to smirk at me while I railed about, “He wouldn’t do that!” The visits to stereotyped locations full of character stereotypes were amusing.

Full of fun

Another great hilarious trip with a Phule and his company. The legion will never be the same again.
