Nail biter!

Absolutely loved this book. It is the second in the series but can be read as a standalone. This book starts off 3 years in the past and gives us a glance at the history of the characters. The past hooked me and I could not stop listening. The action, a little mystery, some comedy, and a little steam all packed into this book make for a very interesting read.
There are so many things stacked against these two mates. A Blessed One and her Guardian, the powers want to keep them apart. Ryan needs her mates energy to stay alive, but they are prevented from meeting. It has a different twist to things than I am use to, but love it

Crossing Hudson

I loved book one where Maddie gets her man. In book 2, Ryan has given up getting her man. For her it is more than heartbreak or a yearning for love and family--it is life itself. Yes, Ryan is the chosen one to be a mate to the head guardian and keep him from the dark side.
Misinformation keeps them from their joining

Years later, Hudson is sent to protect Ryan from the hoard of evil after her. Neither is happy with the situation until Hudson realizes who Ryan is to him. Not only is he fighting those who would harm her, he is fighting her. She is independent and determined she can do it herself. While she is strong and fierce fighting the evil they are not the only danger she faces.

Can Hudson save and protect her? How can they get over the past that has hurt them both and the interference from others? She has a group of loyal, kick butt friends who fight as well. Will they allow anyone close to Ryan? The relationships are touching and sometimes funny and snarky but always loyal and people you'd want around you in a situation.

This one is fast-paced, steamy, and has a great ending. I recommend it.

Second chances

This story broke my heart and then put it back together with a few extra pieces. Ryan and Hudson are mates but the powers that be keep messing with them and keeping them apart. Recommend to all shifter lovers. The HEA is awesome. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Happy listening
